The staff members at all four Wilderness House locations were individually selected to embody and reflect the high ideals, devotion to professionalism, dedication to the needs of the consumer and the surrounding community, and sincere love of the outdoors that are the core values of SnowConnect, Inc. Everyone on the staff recognizes this truth: The company has no meaning nor existence without the passion of each person to utilize his or her areas of expertise to fulfill and even surpass the needs of every customer…for it is the staff and not the bricks and mortar that create the memorable Wilderness House experience.
The team at Wilderness House is composed of practitioners of outdoor adventure sports and activities who embrace the totality of the experience across New England’s spectacular shorelines and ridge lines and fall lines. Everyone on the roster is a problem solver, trained in their own areas of special expertise and knowledgeable of exactly which of their colleagues can tackle any challenge in the many other specialties involved in this wide-spectrum outdoor adventure retailer.
The customer in any of the four stores or on the Web or telephone is never a pawn of a rigid hierarchy of endless titles and turf, but instead encounters an efficient process designed to handle their requests and needs for quality product, expert service and helpful advice. The team prides itself on its constructive harmony, where no one creates boundaries, arbitrary divisions nor corrosive jealousies between sports or stores. Instead, the Wilderness House experience vaults right out of the gate with the ideal equipment, most comfortable fit, and individually tailored adjustments to maximize the enjoyment and competence of the client in pursuit of their outdoor passions in all four seasons.
When a skier or rider, or a biker or a hiker, or a trekker or a climber, or a paddler or a surfer enters the world of Wilderness House with a rental or a purchase or a tune-up, he or she enjoys the full support and technical arsenal of the skilled team at their back.
