Sunday River
Wilderness House at Sunday River offers tuning services to meet the needs of the beginner to the expert. Under the guidance of noted long-time ski tuner Buster Bean, Wildernesshouse provides superior product tuning at competitive prices. We utilize state-of-the art Wintersteiger ski tuning equipment, including the RS 350 race tuner.
Our services include:
Tuning delivery. Through our partnership with The Matterhorn Ski Bar, Wildernesshouse offers an apres ski equipment drop-off at-the-bar service with an option to have tuned skis & snowboards delivered to your doorstep within 12 hours (evening/early morning). Delivery is offered at a $5.00 flat fee. This service is also available at select lodging facilities and associations throughout the Bethel/Newry region as well as in-house.
Buster’s season tune program. Drop off your skis or snowboard Sunday night at Wildernesshouse at Sunday River and pick them up when you return next weekend to the mountain. Your equipment will be evaluated and tuned to your needs midweek between your visits.
Race tune. Ski is flattened with a structure; beveled hand finish.
Stone grind. Ski base is flattened; edges are returned to factory specifications. Includes a wax.
Basic edge and wax, Junior edge and wax, Hot wax, Base repair.
